Happy August everybody! I’m running a little behind but this issue is worth the wait. This month’s WRITER’S EYE with Susan Beckham Zurenda is a special one as she talks about her new novel, No Way Out but Through, and how she found inspiration in an unexpected place. Robert Gwaltney & Jeffrey Dale Lofton introduce Frank Reddy at INSIDE VOICES, Ray’s cats show us how much smarter they are than humans at OFF THE PAGE WITH RAYMOND ATKINS, we have another great book review from Claire Hamner Matturo as CLAIRE CONSIDERS Vidge Floyd and the Secret Frequencies by John Davis, Jr., and Annie Mondesir has some fun with Eoin Dempsey at ANNIE ASKS.
Due to some family emergencies that left me short on time and stretched to the limit, I had to make the hard decision to publish this month’s issue without any submissions. The upside of this is that there will be twice as many stories, essays, and poems for you to enjoy in next month’s issue. I struggled with this but I just couldn’t find the time to give them the attention they deserved. I hope you understand.
